Champ came to Muttville from Solano County as part of a group of dogs being evacuated from the Atlas Fire disaster. He was adopted by Star Hu, the reporter who fell in love with him after interviewing Muttville on her radio show. Now Champ lives the life of a real champ, getting spoiled by his new parents and human siblings. His loves to sniff at everything and every dog in the neighborhood but his most favorite pastime is to work with his mommy at her radio station and nap on her lap.
