Pinto

“No matter how long or how short a time you have with your senior, it is never ever long enough, and so it was
with our beloved Pinto (Bean) who left us last week due to a hemangiosarcoma in his abdomen; he was too old
to subject to surgery and chemotherapy and it would have been selfish of us to make him endure all that…

“The world is a far less joyful place without Pinto in it; if dogs have a philosophy of life, Pinto’s was one comprised of only love and joy for the world. He didn’t meet another dog or person that he did not love, and his joie de vivre was something to behold, we could all learn a life lesson from him.

“Despite his challenges with his health, the tumors and his leg, he was always smiling … we miss that smile, and the snorting, not too mention all the cuddles on the couch and bed whenever he could convince us to hoist his old keister up onto them.

“We love you and miss you Pinto-bean, there will never be another Collie like you!”

Original profile

What a handsome boy Pinto is! With his beautiful coat and big smile, he turns heads wherever he goes. We’ll never understand why his last family left him at the shelter because he’s simply the best! Pinto is fabulous with dogs of all sizes, has lived with kids in the past and is super friendly with people. He’s great for car rides, too! Better hurry on down to meet him, because we have a feeling Pinto is going to adopted in no time at all!
We think Pinto is 12 years young, weighing about 70 lbs.
