Volunteer Craig wrote this beautiful tribute to our sweet Winifred.
Winifred was a lovely girl. She stayed here at Muttville for four months. Her big heart and sweet soul made her a favorite dog amongst staff and volunteers. A 14 year old stray from Martinez, this Lab/Boston Terrier/Bat (?) mix, was sweet, playful, loved to chase a ball and LOVED riding in the car. Unfortunately, her body was just all worn out.
She peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge full of liverwurst and McNuggets, surrounded by loads of love. Her final months were filled with love, and she is greatly missed.

Winifred is a real blend of breeds, perhaps some Boston Terrier?? She would love to meet you! She has one of the most gentle dispositions and would make a fantastic addition to any home. Winifred has spent most of her years lately outside, but we think she looks much happier snuggled up on a warm bed with her favorite people by her side! She gets along well with cats, too!
Winny is great with all dogs big and small, just a delicate soul looking for love!
We think Winifred is 14 years young, weighing 28 lbs.
