Webster

Webster

The Cleverly’s were Websters’s Angels! He lived his last chapter in their loving care.

This morning Webster went to his final forever home and by now will be running through the fields chasing bunny rabbits. He was fit and healthy until two nights ago when I noticed him panting a lot. Yesterday he did not eat and moving became difficult. This morning he could not stand as his back legs had stopped working. Took him to the vet who said it was a neurological issue. Webster was still smiling.

We had him for almost exactly seven months and we are so lucky that we found him. The two older dogs are not too concerned about where he is but the one year old we got from the Stanislaus shelter about two months ago is lost and crying. Webster was his trampoline and the only dog that disciplined him when he got over-exuberant. There will be a big empty space in the living room this evening.

Original profile

Meet Webster, he was overfed till he could barely walk. He will need a home where he can get back in shape. Webster weighs 95 pounds and he should weigh 65 pounds. He walks and moves slowly but he is ALWAYS smiling! He is a very sweet dog that will feel much better once he gets off some of his weight. Do you want a dog that will love you back, this is your guy! He is great with other dogs and his tail wags all the time. Muttville wants him to have the best in life, filled with lots of love and kindness. Please come meet this special guy. We think he is about 11 years old.
