Babs

Babs

Thank you to mom LeRay for sharing her love story with Babs, who gave her great joy before recently passing over the rainbow bridge.

“I saw this precious girl posted on the Muttville page, and I knew she and I were meant for each other.

I called to ask about her, and how to go about adopting her. Was told that there 3 other people ahead of me to adopt her.

After about a week I got a call from you telling me that Babs was available if I was still interested. That is when my life changed and I fell in love with Babs!!!
She has been such a blessing to me, and was my constant companion for a year.

I knew when I adopted her that she had health issues and that I wasn’t sure just how long she would survive. I would like to believe that I gave her a longer healthy life, or maybe a easier last year of her life.
I understood that she was on the euthanasia list when found at the shelter.

I saved this little girl, she saved me….because you see I have never had my own animal that was truly mine. We had lots of different animals when I was growing up, but I never had a dog of my own.
This little girl showed me what it was to be loved unconditionally!

I had to put her down Wednesday November 6, 2013. This was the hardest decision of my life.
I didn’t want to, I still want to make it all go away and have her back again.

But, she is so much better now that she is at the Rainbow Bridge able to run and play with the other animals.
I already miss her so so much, I think I hear her little bark, and not to see that sweet face look up at me, ( even though she had cataracts,) but I knew that she was talking to me.

Thank you Babs for allowing me to be part of your life and I am so glad you were and will always be in my heart."
