Hello, I’m Alec. I’m a 9yo Border Collie mix, and I love life, dogs, people, and even cats.
I was picked up as a stray, and charmed my way out of the shelter… Now, I’m a happy Muttville senior dog rescue and live in San Francisco with my foster family. They even made a video for me.
My only bummer is that broken paw (a “right tarsometatarsal fracture luxation”). The vet put a splint on me, but he said that if I don’t get surgery, I won’t heal properly; I’ll always be limping, and likely in pain.
He also said a few of my teeth do need to go.
And then, he said that would probably cost around $3000, after the Muttville discount… So, I need help.
And, I’m hoping you can help a little. I’m thinking that if everybody gives a little, I’ll be fixed up and ready for my forever family in no time.
