I took a friend in to see the magic of Muttville one day back in June of 2018. I sat down on the floor as I often did during my volunteer shifts to greet the dogs when this grinning, wagging, matted, obese cocker spaniel came right up to me & locked eyes with me!
I immediately started smiling & crying at the same time! I just knew my previous Muttville pup, Schnauzer Perla, had sent her to me:) I wasn’t looking to adopt a dog but I knew Cocoa Puff was meant to be a part of our family. I soon found out she had kennel cough & came to visit her every other day for hours in ISO until she healed & we adopted her (after I convinced my husband we had to)!!! She went from 40lbs down to 25 & was even featured on Today.com.
