Just wanted to send a quick but sad note that our dog Gon-Gon (previously known as Zorro, the senior Shiba/Basenji mix and Muttville alum) passed away on Tuesday.
We did our best to keep him comfortable over the last month during his decline (from cancer), we never left his side, moved our bedding to the floor so we could have sleepovers with him, and he lasted longer than our vets expected.
We are heartbroken but want to thank Muttville for giving us this sweet little baby. I really feel so grateful that he was a part of our lives. He made it 11 months with us, and he seemed to be a very happy boy for 10 of them! He even got to celebrate his supposed 11th birthday recently. He was truly the sweetest, more perfect dog for us – thank you.
