Scooby (aka 2251)

Scooby (aka 2251)

Some stories tell us so much in a few words and pictures. Thank you Jordan for this loving tribute to Scooby:

We adopted Scooby about two and a half years ago and on November 10, he passed away from anemia.

He was only at Muttville a couple days but I just wanted to let you know he was the best dog we ever had and so thankful you guys saved him and allowed us to spend the last two and a half years with him.

Over the last couple years he established a special relationship with my wife. He understood sometimes before I did when she was feeling bad and would sit with her. If I got too close he would growl and wouldn’t let me close until things were better. We took him to Tahoe, Big Sur, and Pismo Beach. He never liked the water but liked to watch other dogs and humans run in and out of the ocean.

I just wanted to share and thank you for all the work you do, he was very special to us.

Are you the proud parent of a Muttville dog? Send us your story! Include 3 of your favorite photos and send to success_stories@muttville.org
