Roscoe

Roscoe

Roscoe’s dad writes in his memory:

It is with the heaviest of hearts that I tell you Roscoe (aka Walter, #1652) has left our world. The 2 years and 9 months that he was with me were among the most joyful of my life. He decided very early on that I was the person for him and he quickly became the most loyal companion I could have ever hoped for. He was the happiest, most engaging dog I have ever known and he was incredibly social. Everywhere we went, he made friends. He absolutely had to say hello to every other dog and every human that he encountered. He had this playful strut that would instantly win the hearts of everyone who saw him do his dance. I have never seen another dog prance like Roscoe and probably never will. His personality and spirit were truly one of a kind. Roscoe is gone but he will never, ever be forgotten. I miss his companionship greatly but I will never forget the friendship we shared and the way he enriched everyone’s life who knew him. Thank you Muttville for enabling all this to happen!

Walter! This dog is amazing, after all he has been through, he has the happiest way about him. Walter was dumped near a reservation in the desert and ended up in a high kill animal shelter.Thank goodness they reached out to Muttville!

He is about 55 pounds and though they say he is 10 years old, I think he is more like 7 years old. he is active and playful. he is good with other dogs and great with people.

He is good in the car and loves walks and would be a great dog to take on a hike, too.
