Enjoy this beautiful story about Muttville alum, Kola:

Dear Muttville Friends,

Hi, from Kola [Cola 2918].

I’ve been living in a new place for about four months. I ride in the car every day, which is one of my favorite things. There is cool fresh air, interesting smells and curious things to see, like deer and turkeys and horses. I go on two or three walks every day. Sometimes I meander on fire roads, paths and or sidewalks. Or I hike up mountains and hills. Most days I go to the park to see who is there. Occasionally I run as fast as the wild wind. I didn’t know how to walk up ramps on the trails and across streams when I moved here, but I am a quick learner and now my feet can take me all sorts of places in the county open spaces.

I am going to school and learning how to pay better attention. I’m very good in the class. I also like class because there are quite a few treats there.

I share my new house with two cats. I let them sniff me and do whatever they want. They sit near me and sometimes jump at me to try to get me to play; I sit near them and ignore them. The people and cats are around almost all the time, so I am not lonely. I relax with them in the living room or the office or in the yard, and take naps. I play tug and show them how well I can catch the tennis ball in my mouth.

At the end of the day when I am tired, I go lie down on my bed and it feels good to be safe and taken care of. The people here tell me I am pretty, and I like that, so I put my paws in their lap and look into their eyes. Sometimes they call me Tiger Paws, but I am not sure why. They give me hugs and say every day they are so glad I am here.

I hope you all get adopted soon because it is good.

Kola
