Lady (a.k.a. Clarissa)

Written by proud mutt mom Jubi:

We never had a dog before, so adopting a dog was going to be a challenge. There were so many things we needed to learn and we just did not want to do wrong by her.

Lady (a.k.a. Clarissa)

It was difficult at first, but with just a little time it began to feel that this relationship was perfect. Our little Lady had a bad bilateral ear infection, which affected her gait and balance, a cataract that allowed her to see maybe 5 or 10 percent out of that eye, slight lameness in one of her legs and very sensitive stomach.
Regardless of her issues (2 have been solved) we were determined to get things right and make sure she was happy and loved.

Lady is a blessing to us, the most sweet and gentle soul. And the cutest when she stomps her paws waiting for that treat! She hasenriched our lives with so much joy and love. I love waking up tofeeling her little paws pushing me to get up.

Thank you Muttville for rescuing this sweetheart so that we could be a family. I’ve attached some photos to share of our little princess!

We changed her name from Clarissa to Lady, it seems to match her personality so much more. She prances and trots and even crosses her paws like a lady!
