Chloe #1705

Chloe was the lovely model for Muttville’s mural, and mom Linda says before she even met her, she knew she was the one. Read their sweet love story:

Chloe #1705

Apparently Chloe came to Muttville in pretty bad shape. I’m told she was full of fleas, very skinny, and most of her hair had fallen out. She had been dumped at some shelter. But Muttville found her, and things started getting better for her. The wonderful Muttville foster couple who took her
in at that time helped her begin to heal, body and soul.

Chloe is doing really well these days. I’ve had her almost two years now. Her age was debated, but my vet says 12 or 13. We live on the Russian River in a somewhat rural area of Sonoma County, and our daily walks take us through orchards and along the river. Chloe likes to take lots of naps, and is definitely enjoying retirement along with me. I have another dog as well, so our pack is thriving and happy.

There is a beautiful mural on one of the walls at Muttville, I do believe it is a picture of Chloe when she was still so underweight but recovering.

She is smiling and has a lively look on her face. It’s that look that jumped out at me from Muttville’s website and in that moment, even before I had met her, I knew I had been chosen. Thank you Muttville!
