Blossom

Blossom

Dearest Sherri and Laurie,

It is with great sadness that I write to tell you that my beautiful Blossom died early this afternoon in my arms. She had been sick for about two weeks and then deteriorated rapidly last week.

I cannot tell you what joy she brought to my house. Everyone who met her loved her. I like to think the past year was happy for her and made up for all the suffering she experienced in the past.

I was so honored that she picked me to be her mom. And I was humbled by the goodness that she exuded. She showed me that indeed there are good people still walking around and happy endings are possible.

Again I thank you for entrusting to my care the beautiful Blossom, who made my life very rich and made me a better person.

I miss so very much and will always carry her in my heart.

Best wishes,
Peg Ryan

Oh precious one, who could leave you to fend for yourself??

Blossom was picked up on the side of the freeway near Modesto, no one ever came for her, no one showed any interest in her. The good samaritan that found her came back and brought her to his home and called Muttville. We are glad to welcome to our crew.

She has fit in easily, too. A quiet girl that is hard of hearing but get around really well, we named her Blossom…. We have no information about her but we think she may be 12+ years old and she weighs only 10 pounds. She is good with cats and dogs-from the foster home- she loves to be held and is a good but slow leash walker.
