Vinnie – 8-9 years old – Red Dachshund, neutered male. Vinnie is perhaps one of the most beautiful Red Dachshunds I have ever seen and has a hilarious personality. He is one of those that actually talks to you when he wants something, a kiss, a snack, to play etc.. He is a hoot and super fun. He loves people but also is a bit more independent and is fine curling up with a warm blanket by himself. He very occasionally barks (one time) at other dogs but is very social and great with other dogs. His eyesight maybe a bit impaired as his former daddy asks everyone to take their reflective glasses off before approaching Vinnie, so he can see your eyes and not his reflection.
We are looking for a home without children for Vinnie, he can get a bit overwhelmed by their fast movements and prefers a mellow home environment.
this guy loves to warm your feet and burrow under the covers at night, hilarious!!
Vinnie came in with Guido, another senior doxie, we decided to split them up when it was determined that they actually seemed happier when they were not together!
