Toto was turned over to Muttville by a good samaritan who saved his life after he was dumped like an unwanted package at an East Bay post office.
It’s hard to imagine how this happened to him. Other than having been overfed, it seems that he was loved and well cared for by somebody in the not too distant past. He’s just a real love!
He is good with dogs and older children. And he loves cats! He is an indoor dog who thinks his place in the world is either on the couch, the bed or your lap.
Toto walks well on leash and will need regular exercise so he can continue to shed those extra pounds. He’s about 10 years old and gets around well.
We think he’d love to be in a home where he is not all alone for long periods of time. If he has to hold down the fort all by himself, with no friends around, he may require a little extra time and patience as he gets to a place where he feels safe and secure.
Toto is an entertaining, affectionate and kind doggie who looks forward to landing himself a forever home. After all, “there’s no place like home, there’s no place like home, there’s no place like home.”
