Meet Taz, a whirlwind of fun and joy in the form of a cute senior dog!

Taz may be a senior boy, but he’s not showing signs of slowing down. He’s excited about exploring his new surroundings at Muttville, and meeting all the new people and dogs here. This foodie is definitely motivated by treats, which is helpful when it comes to training. He’s also a sweet and adventurous boy who deserves to have a loving home where he can enjoy some snuggles and lap time. You’ll want to give him all your attention, which is just how he likes it!

Here’s what Taz’s foster has to say about him:

Taz is calm, gentle & friendly. He hardly barks at all. He loves sitting on the couch snuggling up next to me. If I’m sitting in a chair, he wants to be up on my lap. At night he sleeps on my bed. Taz is great on the leash – he doesn’t pull at all. On walks, he does his business fairly quickly. I take him to Fort Funston every day. We walk briskly on the beach for 1 to 2 hours. At Fort Funston, Taz is off-leash. He has not wandered off nor run away. When we meet other dogs, whether he’s on-leash or off, he is great. He is good with house-training and jumps on and off the couch, and into and out of the car. He is able to climb stairs, but he will only climb a few stairs, such as those leading up to a front door.

Taz is estimated to be 9 years old and weighs about 20lbs.
