Simon, despite not being cared for very well, is one easy-going fella!
This 12 year old cocker spaniel is as sweet as can be. Devastated to be given up (wouldn’t you?),
he was surrendered to SF Animal Care and Control at the ripe age of 12.
Welcome PRINCE CHARMING! That is, after just two grooming sessions to get the dirt and mats out of his hair.
Sweet Simon holds no grudges. He loves people and has a sweet spot for kids. He’s housetrained and very social with cats and other dogs.
He relishes his daily jaunts around the neighborhood and Fort Funston. Simon’s hearing is diminished, but his sight makes up for it,
responding well to big hand and arm gestures — and of course hugs.
Though his former people did not do right by him, he holds no grudges. He loves, loves people; he especially loves kids. He’s housetrained and is great with kids, cats and other dogs. He was unable to walk much when he first arrived at his foster home, but he’s much improved in just a couple of weeks and loves his daily jaunts around the neighborhood (and Fort Funston). Simon is deaf but can still see, and he responds well to big hand and arm gestures. Simon is a wonderful dog; however, if you can’t handle a dog that wants to be where you are all the time, he is not the dog for you. He just loves to be by your side!
