Poor Sammy, a 7 year old Shih Tzu, came into the Merced shelter horribly matted, but even worse was that under the mats on his front leg was an injury that had been left untreated, he had developed gangrene! His leg was amputated; now he’s feeling so much better and glad to be here at Muttville. He’s ready to take life as a tripod! This cutie pie has such a will to live and has so much love to give.
