If you love a quiet and mellow, zen type dog, then Otto is the guy for you. He is an 8 yr old, 50 pound chow/Akita teddy bear with a gentle soul.
Otto is a champion hugger who enjoys sleeping and laying in the sun. His favorite thing is to ride in the car and watch the world go by. As much as he loves to get to go, he’s fine home alone, too. He’ll just sleep, snore and dream the day away. He is housetrained, though may have a little accident here and there in his sleep.
Otto is deaf and has some mobility issues. A home with few/no stairs is best and there are times where he needs help moving around.
As sweet as he is toward people, Otto needs a home with no other animals. Also, due to his deafness and achy body, we recommend a home with no small children.
He is super loyal and will become very attached to his person(s). Any available tail wags will be saved for just them.
In his own way, he is a happy and content dog. Otto boy is ready to live life in the slow lane together with another special soul.
