Our sweet Dapple Doxie girl, Opal, was abandoned alone in a vacant lot.
We took her in and nursed her. Part of her jaw had become rotten from neglect and
our special vet dentist, Dr Jamie Anderson, removed it. Opal liked to cuddle under the covers, she certainly burrowed her way into my heart
while she was with me.
Opal became ill with aspirate pneumonia and passed away in my arms. We are so sad here at Muttville
Opal will be remembered as our first dapple doxie, full of bounce and love.
We will see you again, over the bridge, little girl.
