Maggie 2

Sweet Maggie is 6 years old ( and was very neglected. She’s on the road to recovery: she had a rudimentary haircut to treat the fleas and some underlying skin problems that stemmed from the neglect. She is flea free and her skin has begun to heal. Once her hair starts to grow back she’ll be the beautiful dog she’s meant to be. Maggie is becoming more relaxed as she’s feeling better. She gets along well with her fosterer’s other 3 dogs and is learning how to get along with a cat. She is very smart and quick to learn as we have been expecting the same of her as the other dogs and teaching her to do what they do. With just three walks she no longer runs all over the place and is learning to heel. She knows that she’s not supposed to get on the furniture and is learning manners at feeding time. She is housetrained and seems to like structure and does well with it. Maggie is a happy dog who is eager to please and would be an excellent pet for someone who can give her a some consistent guidance and attention because she responds so well.
