Meet Lexie, this shy girl was cowering out of fear in her kennel when we met her, she was so confused about where she was and why she was there. This beautiful 7 yr old, 25 pound spaniel mix, was abandoned and no one was coming for her.
She was so shy that the shelter was hesitant to put her up for adoption.
But once we got her out, we got to see Lexie stand tall and wag her tail just the tiniest bit. Not only is this dog beautiful on the outside, she has warmth and love on the inside. All she needs a patient, calm home.
We want her to find a home where she will blossom and learn how to be a dog that is spoiled and loved!
An adult home will be best for Lexie, she will need a calm environment to thrive.
