Meet Kevin! This handsome Cocker Spaniel would love to be a part of your family. He is sweet as can be and loves everyone he meets. He does great with other dogs and enjoys going for walks, playing with his toys, and eating (of course!). Kevin is almost completely blind, but despite this he gets around very well and is still very outgoing. Will you give this lovable guy a chance?
Kevin is about 7 years young and weighs 25 pounds. Here is what his foster says about him-
“Kevin is probably 90% blind but he does navigate well, and walks well on a leash. He loves his toys and loves to be next to his person and around people in general! If I leave the room and he cannot follow me he howls a bit. If I leave the house, he is fine. I let him sleep next to my bed and he lets me sleep :)
Kevin is fine with all dogs, cats, and people. He uses his head to feel his way along. He can navigate stairs, dog parks and new territory well and he’s almost totally house-trained. He loves to eat and we use a maze bowl to slow him down.
Kevin is no more work to me than a sighted dog. He’s not destructive and is mostly quiet. He likes to be near me, walk outside once a day, and sleep on the floor nearby. Playing with his ducky makes him extremely happy.”
