Dolittle’s family brought him in to the shelter with a belt around his body because they had no collar or leash. They were moving and couldn’t take him with them. Covered in matted filth and his skin black with fleas, poor Dolittle trembled with fear.
He had no idea that he had many angels watching over him, all of whom shared the common goal of saving his precious and important life.
And here he is at Muttville now, flown in by plane from LA.
Dolittle is 10 years old, good with dogs, older children and maybe even cats. His back legs are painful and shaky with arthritis and our vet will help get him feeling better. For now, he prefers a home without stairs.
He’s been a backyard dog his entire life and may need a little time adjusting to the great indoors.
Dolittle is a beautiful and gentle soul, such a sweet, sweet boy… He is more than ready to start living the good life.
