Large (50-90 lbs)
Status: Adopted

Clooney is a hunk just like his namesake George Clooney. He is a big goofball and this is surprising after you read the story i have attached of his rescue. Clooney is about 7 years old, playful and happy. he loves other dogs and romps like he hasn’t a care in the world. Clooney weighs 58 pounds but could put on 10 more to fill out his bones!

He si OK with cats but we will want a slow intro as he wants to play and is curious about them. We are so happy he is coming to Muttville. we know that for the rest of his life, he will be loved and well cared for.

Might you have room for Clooney? He’s such a good boy and he deserves to be cherished for once and for all.

whoever adoptes this hunky boy will be very lucky!

from his rescuer, Katya.

The moment I saw him I knew I would not let this go. I pulled over and called out until somebody came outside from the home. I spoke to the owner about this dog’s condition. How sick he looked. This dog is not well, I insisted and pointed. Underweight, covered in fleas and skin so dry and infected it looked like an armadillo’s, with those elbow patches dogs get from sleeping on concrete. And the eyes. I was haunted by his eyes, full of gook and neglect even though he must have been in agony, his tail wagged at me. How uncomfortable he must have been. How long this must have gone on. I asked if I could return. A few days later I came by to say hello again. A few more days and I brought him a dog bed. That’s when I asked if I could please take their dog to the vet, telling the owners that he was not just old, he was suffering and needed attention. I am so lucky they said yes. I don’t think these people are bad or mean – but very very uneducated and very very guilty of NOT taking care of their dog.

Today I picked him up. Today we went to the vet. And not just any vet, we went to Village Vet and let me tell you something, I’ve NEVER been to a vet like this before. I’ve never been met with such compassion, such kindness, such respect for rescue and for animals. Please, if you are looking for a vet or a recommendation look no further. It took my breath away talking to Dr. Fuller and Dr. Zoe. They are the real deal. Bright and hard working and good to the core. Because help him they did. These vets teared when they saw him. They bathed him not once but twice. Never before had they seen that many fleas on a dog, infestation beyond compare. They cleaned his eyes, are giving him the full examination, and when I left them today he felt like a million bucks. I think his name should be Clooney because he’s one hunky, nice boy in there and he is smiling tonight. His first night of real sleep.

Just check out this video of him!
