Chey comes to us from San Jose where he was surrendered because they could no longer care for him. Chey is ready to put that behind him as Muttville is ready to find him an amazing forever home! This little guy is looking for a kindred spirit with a soft touch and a warm heart. While shy at first, we think Chey will blossom in a calm environment with a loyal companion. Chey is just the sweetest dog! He’s quite active, but also loves to cuddle- the perfect combination! Chey is quite spry for a senior. He is active & loves going on walks. He will even sprint around our yard to chase a tennis ball. You’d hardly know he is a senior! We have two other dogs & he is great with them. His house-training is excellent! No accidents in the house! He can also make it through the night without needing to go out. Chey LOVES belly rubs & is not afraid to roll over and ask for them. He’s a professional cuddler and will nuzzle against me any chance he gets. He sleeps on our bed and is quiet all through the night. When I come home he’s always there to greet me and will get up on his hind legs for pats on the head. He does the same when the leash comes out for a walk as walks are pretty much his favorite thing.
