Charlotte is truly a princess looking for a home to call her castle!
Charlotte can be a bit shy around new people and places, but after a treat or two she begins to trust, and after a short time once she lets you in it is so special because you know you have earned her love.
She will make the perfect addition to an easy going and mellow home, she would be a great apartment dog! She is totally cool with hopping on the couch and watching you leave for work – but the happy eyes and tail wag you get upon returning home is the most heartwarming.
As as terrier she loves to explore new spots but doesn’t necessarily need a bunch of exercise everyday. One of her ultimate favorite activities is belly scratches! Whenever she sees her favorite people she just flops over and asks for a belly rub. Charlotte gets along well with other dogs and can do the stairs like a champ.
Here’s what Charlotte’s foster has to say about this special girl:
“It takes her a little bit to warm up to a new person, but once she does, she really blossoms. Charlotte’s favorite things are walks, napping between walks and meal time. She likes to be close when invited and will even hop into my lap when invited for a lap snuggle that is so sweet and sincere. She does not bark and is house trained. She likes to explore my small garden on her own and sit in the morning sun, but she would also be a great apartment dog. She is sensitive about being grabbed suddenly, so small children would not be ideal.”
We think Charlotte is 9 years young, weighing about 14 lbs.
