Hi, my name is Babs. I am estimated to be 8-10 years old. I was found as a stray, but it is obvious that I have lived in a home before. I am house trained and I only bark when I am excited about going for a walk or getting my dinner. I am great with other dogs both big and small and I ignore the cats in my foster home. My biggest love however, is people. I am very social and outgoing with everyone. I am “velcro” in the house and follow my foster Mom everywhere. I would be most happy in an adult only (older teens ok) home where someone is around a lot and wants a little sidekick (that would be me). I would also be ok with a working person who has another friendly dog to keep me company when you are gone.
I do not like to be brushed, so it would be best to keep my coat trimmed by a groomer on a regular basis. Also, most of my teeth were recently pulled due to past dental neglect, but I do just fine as long as you feed me soft food. I am spayed, microchipped and up to date on all shots.
I love to go for on-leash walks. I have no signs of arthritis and I can do a brisk walk for an hour, or a couple of miles. I have excellent leash manners. I am also capable of climbing up and down stairs without issue. I am just fine riding in the car.
