I said goodbye to an old canine friend the other day. He was the last of “the original gang.” As the years pass, the Rainbow Bridge seems to be continually crossed more frequently than I would care to experience. I had asked my beloved Barney (the Beagle) to take care of Hank.
I’m sure he’ll care for Lollipop as well. I’m glad I had the chance to meet her … though but once. How special she seemed … in her “grande damme” manner @ the door.
Again, I’m sorry for your loss, Sherri. Lolli knew you could handle things from here … even w/o her physical presence. She’s right. I guess that Jefferson Award was/is for you both!!

Right now -- My hands are full w/ "The Boyz!!" Dillon... an 11-12 y/o Border Collie/(?)Aussie (adopted from Pets Unlimited @ approx. 2 y/o) Tyler... a 7-8 y/o Cattle dog/Jindo?/Shepherd? ++ mix!? (adopted from the SF SPCA @ approx. 4-5 y/o). Both are, also, Animal Assisted Therapy dogs.
