Muttville Medicare for dogs

The story of Tony

Imagine if the first time you got your teeth cleaned, you were 56 years old. Imagine going weeks or months, or even years without basic medical care. Imagine living without the prescriptions you needed to relieve the chronic ache of arthritis, halt the slow degeneration of diabetes, or alleviate a constant itch that causes you to tear at your own skin incessantly.

So often with senior mutts, all they need is a "tune-up" - a routine medical or dental exam, a teeth cleaning, spay or neuter, a straightforward treatment for a non-life-threatening infirmity, and they have years and years of good health to look forward to.

Tony

Look at Tony - such a superstar! Who knows why this 8-year-old spaniel/aussie mix found himself in a shelter without a family to call his own. While he was perfectly socialized, loved every living creature he came across, and was just generally high on life, it was clear he hadn't had a dental exam in years, if ever.

Once he got his teeth cleaned, an infected tooth pulled, was neutered, and had a mild rash resolved, he was ready for his forever home, which came within a day of landing on the Muttville website.
