The story of Minnie Munchkin

Minnie Munchkin

When you look into that sweet face, the choice should be simple - preserve life at all costs. But often it's not. When there's no money for a life-saving surgery, the choice can be excruciating.

This is sweet Minnie Munchkin, a Lhasa Apso from San Jose, whose eye was so infected and bulging, it needed to be removed immediately, or it would kill her. No municipal animal shelter has the resources to give a rescue dog, especially a senior like 10-year-old Minnie, the necessary surgery she required to save her life.

But Muttville was there for her and had the resources to say "yes." Muttville paid for her treatment and follow-up care. Volunteers nursed her, ensuring she made a full recovery. And shortly thereafter, when she was well enough to be adopted, she found her soul mate. The quality of her remaining life and the love she has to give her person is priceless.

Your generous gift of $100 per month means Muttville doesn't have to say "no" to senior dogs like Minnie. Click the button at the right to sign up to become a monthly Mutt Guardian - at any level - today.
