Mickey (Chihuahua | Male | Size: toy)

Mickey was dropped in a night drop box at a local animal shelter, all 3 pounds of him!
He is quite resilient, a very sweet, happy little Chi. His lower jaw is gone but that doesn’t stop him from having a hearty appetite. He just likes the soft food!
He is fine with other small dogs and loves a warm lap. Is this the teeny tiny you’ve been yearning to care for?

Tucker (Australian shepherd mix | Male | Size: medium)

FOSTER HOME URGENTLY NEEDED! Look at this sweet faced boy, how could we turn him away?
Tucker is an 8-10 yr old aussie mix who weighs about 50 pounds. He is very gentle and sweet.
He gets along fine with other dogs and has lovely energy. Tucker is going to make someone a great buddy!

Marshy (Coton de tulear or havanese mix | Female | Size: small)

When Marshy was picked up as a stray in the Central Valley, she was covered in burrs and foxtails. Poor little girl! She’s feeling so much better now that she’s a Muttville. Marshy is about 10 yrs old; we think she is a coton de tulear or havanese mix.
Marshy is a very special girl, she has dementia and she will happily prance around the house, not aware of things around her. She is adorable, enjoys being held, but never really knows where she is.

Maggie 6 (German short hair pointer | Female | Size: medium)

This lovely lady spent her first 10 years in a backyard; now at Muttville, Maggie loves her new digs, especially a big fluffy bed, and hopes to find a home of her own. Her little nubbin tail never stops wagging. This super sweet gal will need a home without stairs, as she has a back injury that has made her walk a bit funny, but she can still get around. Maggie is bright eyed and happy to greet you every day!

Bandit (Cocker spaniel | Male | Size: small)

Bandit is such a precious boy! He’s a healthy, friendly, housetrained 10 year old who likes children. Bandit loves attention and a “cookie” in the morning. He is well behaved, gets along with other dogs and cats, and would be happiest with someone who is home all day.

Mia 2 (Cattle dog mix | Female | Size: small)

Such an adorable petite cattle dog mix! Mia is a wonderful little girl, about 8 yrs old, who was covered in ticks and years of dirt. She still seems to love everyone’s attention, baths, brushing and even pulling all those nasty ticks off her body!
Mia is playful and is fine with dogs and the cats she has met. She weighs about 27 pounds
We are so happy to be able to save her from her harsh life and bring her a new chapter filled with cushy beds and a loving family to care for her!

Carbo (Labrador retriver/whippet mix | Male | Size: medium)

Carbo is an approx. 8-year-old Labrador Retriever mix, likely part Whippet because of his fold-back ears and slight frame (he weighs less than 40 pounds). He is mostly black, but has white coloration around his muzzle, on his legs and paws, and on his chest (with a unique bold white check pattern like Superman’s “S”).

Zoey 2 (Lhaso apso | Female | Size: small)

Zoey just arrived at Muttville! Her mom went into a nursing facility and Zoey is having a hard time, she just isn’t sure what is going on. She was in the shelter for a long time and no one came for her until Muttville showed up and whisked her away!
Zoey is a 9 year old Lhasa Apso and she is as cute as can be. She is OK with all the dogs here and I am sure she will settle in once she is more comfortable and secure. Zoey likes to walk and has good amount of energy! She needs someone to let her know …

Olive 2 (Chihuahua mix | Female | Size: small)

Olive is a 9 year old Chihuahua mix who was saved on her last day at the Animal Shelter. She’s oh so happy to be at Muttville! This little cutie gets along well with other dogs and cats and is a real snuggle bug. She is easy to have around the house, she just wants to be where you are and in your company but shows no signs of having separation anxiety. Olive is house broken, loves to be groomed and loves her doggie treats. She’ll be a great addition to your household!

Debbie (Pomeranian | Female | Size: small)

Lizzy (Dachshund | Female | Size: small)

Lizzy is a wonderful 7 yr old doxie who came to us from SFACC. She’s lively and very happy to be out of the kennels where she was very scared! Lizzy is a cuddler and loves to burrow under the covers. She’s not just a snuggler, though: she’s also a great little walker and loves other dogs but loves humans even more!

Honeybee (Dachshund | Female | Size: small)

True to her name, our honeybee is soft and sweet like honey. This little girl is an easy keeper, she likes cats, dogs, and your lap. She is an excellent walker, too. We think she is about 9 yrs old, but she has energy of a younger dog.
Honeybee has bright eyes and a big smile: she got the happy gene!!
She would make an awesome addition to almost any family that is ready for love!

Taiso (Shepherd mix | Male | Size: large)

Taiso is a sweet forlorn 10 yr old shep mix. His family gave him to the animal shelter to be euthanized. This boy has so much life left in him! Just look at his soulful eyes.
Taiso is uber friendly, his tail wags when he gets love and he will give kisses, too.

KoKo is a 10-to-12 pound senior male poodle, who lived with one owner his whole life. When she lost her home & had nowhere to go, she brought KoKo to us. He’s a delightful, spry little fellow. Puffy, a 10 year old pommie girl, was rescued from a hoarding case where 200 dogs were confiscated. She’s ready to get some love & attention of her own! This cutie is very easy going and quiet She loves to go for walks and be held in your lap, is easy in the car, and likes other dogs.

Daisy Duke (Labrador retriever | Female | Size: large)

Daisy Duke, a 3 year old lab girl, was taken from a home with over 200 dogs! Now it’s her time to get a little attention. This lovely, shiny black lab is super friendly with everyone and all dogs. She seems housetrained and very cuddly, too. Though she is energetic, she does have hip dysplasia and she would be best in a home with minimal stairs. One look as this sweet girl’s soulful eyes and you will be in love. She is waiting for you!

TC & Booboo (Cattle dogs | Female | Size: medium)

Meet Muttville’s new darling duo: TC & Booboo, two sweet, gentle cattle dog girls! These lovely, housetrained ladies were brought to a country shelter after their family lost their home. TC and BooBoo are loving, easy girls, they are so happy to be out of the shelter where they just stood shaking in their kennel wondering what happened to their lives.
