Wilbur

Wilbur (yes she’s a she). This little one’s name comes from the idea that really she looks like a little pot belly pig. She defines the term Lap Dog, even resting her head on your chest to let you know she needs to be a little bit closer to you. Wilbur does not need a lot of exercise, though she does enjoy walks (and still needs them) but she is not going to wear you out with her need to get outdoors. Because of her poor eyesight, she sometimes growls at moving objects (other dogs or people). She also does not like to be approached by strangers. This is not unusual for a dog and she has been working on this and gaining trust and she settles in at her foster home. Wilbur is a great dog for someone looking for a little buddy to hang around with. She currently lives with dogs and cats in her foster home, but Wilbur would do best not to live with cats.
