Loving, playful and goofy Vinny is our newest class clown and he can’t wait to meet you! Its pretty clear that he hasn’t been receiving the best care over the past few months, so he is absolutely loving all the warm beds, belly rubs and TLC that he’s now getting at Muttville. Vinny is such a special guy, he’ll melt your heart the second you meet him! He’s great with other dogs, loves meeting new people and still has plenty of pep in his step. Vinny deserves the very love and care from here on out!
Here is what his foster says about him, "Vinnie is an incredibly sweet dog! He’s a total quiet gentleman, but he loves to be loved. He just wants to put his head in your lap and look at you with such appreciation. He also really likes blankets. Aside from the morning snuggle, we put a blanket on him while he was sleeping and when he woke up he wore it around for like 20 minutes. He’s a GREAT eater and he likes EVERYTHING. This also contributes to him being very treat motivated in training. Whoever said you can’t teach an old dog new tricks L-I-E-D. Vinnie knows “sit” and is very good on leash, especially when you reward with him with an occasional treat. He loves to be outside. I get the vibe that he could kind of work with any household. Never hyperactive. Yet he loves to go for walks and never seems to get too tired to go out. He’s not whiny at all. He’s very calm and very much likes to be close to people. He’s never destructive. He’s totally house trained. He’s really still very much in his prime. He feels like a young dog in his body, but he has a very calm, mature spirit.
We think Vinny is between 7-9 years young, weighing about 40 lbs.
