Vince! Could he be any cuter!?! From the country to the city, this boy has come a long way.
His foster mom says "Brave little man Vince! He is about 9 years old and weighs 10 pounds. We can clearly tell that he has come from a bad situation; not only did he need a shave and dental work due to neglect, from his timid demeanor, he had definitely experienced some abusive behavior. But he is bouncing back beautifully, and you can see the amazement and joy in his eyes with every small act of kindness offered. He cannot get enough cuddling, and now plays and bounces around like a puppy. He is housetrained and getting used to the loud noises of the city and walking on leash. He gets along very well with his pit bull foster sister and other dogs. We are still working on his confidence, and think he would do best in a quiet-ish home without kids. This guy is so rewarding to be around, as every single day brings a new accomplishment or activity for him; he is blossoming before our eyes! Vince is so cute and loving, and deserves a wonderful forever home that will make him finally feel safe. Please come to a Muttville event and meet this sweet soul! "
Sept 26 update: Great news! Vince has gotten all of his rotten teeth taken out and is recovering well. Now that his mouth is not painful he is happily gulping down his meals and loves his whole face to be petted. His fur is growing back and he looks quite handsome with his lion cut! He is now officially a city man and loves walking and taking in all of the fascinating smells. We’re not sure if he ever had people to love before, but now that he does, he is so affectionate. Vince loves to snuggle and waits at your feet to be picked up; he always wants to be close. He dances on his hind legs and makes funny little yelping noises whenever he is excited; so CUTE! Pom fans: this is your guy! He is a terrific dog and a loyal cuddly companion.
