Tunza a 9 year old blind pitbull that I can no longer keep. She is a sweet timid dog in good health who would do well in a mature home or with older children. We have tried different animal shelters and all said due to being blind and 9 years that she would be euthanized. My wife and I have decided we need to get rid of her due to having a 8 month old baby who is crawling, very interested in Tunza, but not quick enough to get out of her way. She steps on us all of the time and we are much quicker. Tunza also has not been getting as much attention and we are hoping to find her a home where she will. She is good with cats, small children, and most dogs. She does not like to be tied up or in a cage. She has injured herself being tied up. She has never bitten anyone/thing. Tunza is potty trained but has had some accidents at night or when left in the house for long periods. We put a cloth diaper on her.
We’re delighted to report that Tunza is currently in a loving and caring home. Thanks to all the wonderful friends of Muttville who helped to make this happen.
