Hello, my name is Trixie! I am a cheerful spunky little girl who gets along with everyone. I am currently in foster care and living nicely with other dogs and a couple of cats (don’t tell anyone but I really like sleeping with the chubby cat….he is warm).
I am cute, playful, quiet (I rarely bark), and I have excellent house manners. My foster Mom also thinks that I am very smart and obedient. Before I came into rescue, I lived in a loving home, but they were not able to take care of me medically. I am very healthy now and ready for a new home, but my new family will need to make sure that I stay on flea prevention to keep my skin looking fab!
I am house trained and I am not scared of anything in the house, even the vacuum! My favorite activity in the world is to snuggle with my person. I am the quintessential lap dog. I will follow you lovingly around the house, snuggle with you, give you lots of kisses and sit on your lap for as long as you allow me to. I want nothing more than consistent companionship! I also sometimes go to work with my foster Mom and I do great there because I am well-behaved and quiet.
The vet thinks I am about 12 years old, but I am still very perky and can do a 1-2 mile walk. Did I also mention that I am really cute? I sure hope that somebody gives me a good forever home where I will be loved, pampered and cherished.
Trixie is 13 years young and weighs approximately 8 pounds.
