The Dynamic Duo

Titus (or Tito as his foster dad calls him) and Prettygirl are an adorable, hilarious, fun and affectionate bonded pair of Chihuahuas who are looking for a forever home together. These two are the CUTEST team you will ever see in your life, and once you meet them together, you could never imagine one without the other, nor would you want to!! The love between these two pups will melt your heart.

Titus & Prettygirl depend on each other for everything. They sleep together and share food with each other. They just turned 9 years old and are believed to be brother and sister, together since birth. They were obtained from a local animal shelter about three years ago by a 95-year-old relative, who recently passed away.

Both dogs are housebroken and get along with fine with other dogs and cats, although of course they always prefer each other. But their next choice after that is definitely YOU! Both dogs are smart, loving, and try hard to please. Within minutes of meeting you, they’ll be jumping on and off your lap like a circus act. These two are something else, but still sweet as can be. Titus sometimes barks at strangers, but he gets over it quickly. Neither dog is yappy.

Prettygirl, the larger of the two, is about 8 lbs. and is very gentle and well-behaved. She has a very sweet disposition and a loving personality. Her favorite place in the world is being cuddled in someone’s lap. When not in a lap she likes to be next to Titus where they keep each other warm. She can be a little shy with strangers and with children but warms up quickly as soon as she realizes they’re friendly.

Titus, the smaller of the two, is about 6 lbs., and is physically more fragile and slightly arthritic. For this reason, it would be preferable for him to be in a home with few stairs, or for him to occasionally be carried up and down them, depending on how much his arthritis is bothering him. Titus wears a harness (instead of a collar) due to having arthritis in his neck and because he has a collapsing trachea (which is common in small dogs) that causes him to make a cough/snort sound periodically. But other than that, both dogs have gotten a clean bill of health and nothing is slowing them down yet!
