Starla is the newest star here at Muttville and we just love this girl!
Can’t you tell by looking at her photos how sweet she is!? Starla was originally found as a stray in Stockton so we don’t know much about her past, but she was clearly well-socialized and loved. Despite all the recent changes in her life, Starla is just perfect! She gets along great with dogs of all sizes and is friendly towards people of all ages. She loves making new friends, going for walks, and simply exploring her surroundings. Starla would make a wonderful addition to any kind of home!
Starla is 11 and weighs 52 pounds.

Starla’s temperament is a lovely combination of being affectionate as well as independent. She’s a laid back, happy pooch. She doesn’t bark much & sleeps like a baby. Starla is a (little too) curvy girl who looks forward to her yummy meals. She is at her spunkiest on her morning walks. She also enjoys afternoon walks and light evening strolls in the neighborhood. She gets along with dogs, cats & other people. Starla doesn’t fare well with stairs but will go up & down stairs if she wants to; the strong-willed side of her gets her going. She would do well in a one story home that is carpeted. Starla is potty trained. She doesn’t jump on people or furniture. She is curious about human food and will partake if it’s in front of her but is a lazy beggar. She rides well in the car too. Starla is a bonafide doll!
