Sparky is a friendly, curious, alert Bichon/Poodle mix, male, about 20+ lbs., @ 8-10 years old. He was listed as a stray at the Martinez “shelter”, and was due to be euthanized (!) the day after we rescued him.
In fact, he’s a perky, active, spunky, cheerful fellow who bonds quickly to whoever he’s with. Everyone who sees him likes him. He gets along well with other dogs and people. He’s okay with a confident cat, but will chase a skittish one. He was obviously once someone’s very beloved companion. As you can see from the pictures, he’s a total bed dog and snuggle bug.
Sparky doesn’t seem to shed; might be that curly poodle hair. He’s just been neutered and had some dental work done. Now he’s ready to find a permanent home with someone who likes to snuggle in return!
