“Spanky loves to walk and run, anywhere and anytime. He likes the beach and the mountains, and city walking suits him just fine. Sleeping next to a person is good too, especially if there’s sunshine involved. He’s learning basic commands (although “sit” comes naturally to him, obviously) and likes the training. He gets along with all types of people, dogs, and cats (irrespective of sex, race, breed, size, or age). He likes to chase squirrels if he’s on his wheels and off leash, and don’t think those wheels will slow him down: he’s learning to skid and drift in them! Stairs: not a big deal for him (whether in wheels or out of them!) and sometimes he even lets me help him. Is he a special needs dog? Yes, he needs help urinating and getting into his wheels, but aside from that, he especially needs someone to have love, care, and respect for him. In return, you’ll get an awesome little guy who will always be happy to see you, show you that life is good (no matter what a tough day you had), and let you see the beauty and grace in yourself."
Sweetest Spanky has the most outgoing loving personality, he is a special needs boy who is paralyzed in his back legs BUT he loves his wheels and tootles around like any other dogs when he is in them. He loves other dogs and especially loves his humans. He has soulful eyes that tell you how much he adores you. We think he is 8 years old and he is great with children and all animals he meets, too..
