Felix, my little sailor, I know your daddy wanted you to stay with his family when he passed on, but no family member wanted to take you home from the shelter…too old, deaf and blind! even though you were only 10 pounds and as cute as a stuffed animal!

You were so sad in that kennel when we met that I had to take you home. With your matted hair cut off and acclimation to the new routine, you came alive! Now everyone stops us to ask all about you. I know you came from a happy home and now you are here in another loving environment…I surely hope that those weeks in the cold, steely shelter have been wiped from your memory. Your jaunty walk makes us all smile, Mr Feelgood!!

Sadly, Felix has passed away. But thanks to some great friends of Muttville, he spent his final time in a wonderful home.
