Shorty is on his way to Muttville and is urgently seeking a foster home! Though the shelter has him as a seven year old, he is probably older. Shorty loves other dogs and is calm and submissive.
A shelter favorite! Shorty was abandoned, tied up outside the shelter overnight during a very hot summer night. He is active for his age, walks well on a leash and runs around a bit but obviously he tires easily and sometimes when he is sitting he gets sleepy and falls backwards – it’s the cutest thing! They are currently using him as a CGC, “Calm Submissive Neutral dog” for training and he’s learned sit, stay, come, & focus.
He is a total lover, very low key and mellow, but will play with other dogs. He loves other dogs and loves to play with Panda, his young spunky staffy kennelmate. He loves to be cuddled and petted and if you sit down next to him he will try to crawl in your lap or rest his head on your leg. He is an absolute lovebug who looks like he has had a rough life. He deserves to spend the remainder of his life being pampered and loved. We promise that his cute overbite will win your heart!
