Little Shatzie was picked up with his little ribs sticking out, so starved! But the minute he got some attention his tail started wagging and hasn’t stopped since. We think he is 7 years old and mini doxie about 8 pounds.
Shatzie is such a lover! he is so happy; always wagging his tail and running around with his foster brother. He absolutely loves to find a warm snuggly place where he can burrow and take a snooze, preferably next to his humans. He gets along with all dogs and children. Shatzie walks well on a leash although there are so many interesting things to smell he sometimes zigzags all over the sidewalk. I’m working with him and he gets better each walk. He is potty trained and we are also working with him on crate training as well as teaching him to sit. He’s smart and catches on quickly, especially when there’s a treat involved! He has a large appetite and loves nothing more than to get a full tummy and fall asleep while chewing on a rawhide.
