Scout is a lovely and unique girl who can’t wait to go home with her new family!
We believe she is a Lab/Cattle Dog mix. She is the perfect medium size and still active for being a senior girl! Scout is very friendly with new people and enjoys going for walks and making friends. She also loves other dogs and is happy to socialize. We don’t know much about her past, but the future looks bright for Scout! She will make an excellent addition to any kind of home!
Scout is 12.5 years young and weighs 25 pounds.

Scout loves being right next to you always -this includes sleeping next to you (she’s a great cuddler!). She is very quiet, only barking at occasional dogs or if she is playing. She has her playful moments, but she is overall just a very calm, sweet soul. Scout LOVES walks. She is wonderful on leash & enjoys playing with toys and exploring the house/outside. She is very good with other dogs & has been great with our dog and with all the dogs we meet while on walks. She doesn’t pay any attention to our cat – which is a good thing! So far she has had no accidents in the house. Often she will get up from where she is laying down, look at me, wag her tail, and I will let her out. I adore this dog! She is a gentle pup who wants nothing more than to spend her years exploring the world with someone and then taking a long nap afterwards. And she loves cherry tomatoes!
