Meet Sakura (or Cherry Blossom in Japanese). This cute girl comes to us all the way from Sacramento where she was found as a stray. Despite all the recent changes in her life Sakura is still a happy and spunky girl. She is a Japanese Chin, a companion breed known for being loyal and loving. Sakura does great with other dogs, loves running around and exploring, and is fun to be around. We know Sakura will find the perfect home very soon!

Sakura is 9 years young and weighs 10 pounds.

Here is what her foster says about her!

“Saki” loves her walks, is very energetic, fond of toys and quite playful. There were a few potty accidents the first few days, but that has resolved. She gets along well with my dogs, but seems to prefer my company and loves to curl up next to me on the sofa. She only barks if someone comes to the door, at meal time or if she wants my attention. Her snoring can be a bit loud though, which is actually quite endearing. A gentle nudge and she stops. She sleeps in my bed, burrowed deeply under the blankets until morning. She’s absolutely adorable and will be a spunky and loving companion to a lucky someone.
