Ruby is truly a gem of a dog! This gorgeous gal was once a stray with no home to call her own. Good thing Ruby made her way to Muttville where she’s getting all the love and attention her heart can handle! She’s a gentle giant that gets along great with dogs of all sizes and loves to meet new people. If you’re looking for an XL cuddly buddy to bring home, Ruby may be the dog for you!
We think Ruby is between 11 years young, weighing about 70 lbs.

Ruby is a sweetheart! She loves attention and a good long pet session. She seems to only bark for a need, not just to bark. So far she tells me when she is hungry, needs to go out, or if there’s something we should check on. She is on the lower energy side but is playful with other dogs and likes to play fetch. She was good on walks and when encountering other dogs. We walked by a cat once and she didn’t seem to care. Ruby is house trained. She takes treats from the hand gently. When she wants your attention she’ll come get it….one day I was working on my laptop and she kept coming over and pushing it to the side so she could put her head on my lap!
