From Rhonda’s foster Mom-
Rhonda is a sweet, affectionate 8-year-old girl who just wants to sit on the couch with you (and sometimes on your feet). She will roll over for belly rubs at any invitation! She loves going to the dog park and gets a great big smile on her face romping around outside and with other dogs. She is very well-mannered and housebroken, and always either pees on her pee pads in the house or waits to go outside. Rhonda’s vision is compromised, but you’d never know it from her confidence! Her impaired vision doesn’t seem to impact her at all, except when going on walks on busy streets, where the loud noises and lots of obstacles can scare her.
Rhonda would be a great fit for someone who wants a funny companion to wave her curly tail around the house (and sometimes in your lap), and who can take her for daily short walks. She is very low-maintenance and calm, and just a joy to have around! Rhonda has mixed opinions about dogs that are smaller than she is, so probably would do better either by herself or in a household with bigger dogs. She has met several small children at the park, and has tolerated their petting with good grace. Previous foster parents have said she was good with cats as well.
