Mugsy came to San Francisco’s ACC after being neglected for many years. Because he was deaf, he was passed over for adoption. We at Muttville saw great potential for him as a companion. He was so spunky, so energetic, such a little whippersnapper.
Once he arrived at our home, he became king of the castle. Not 24 hours after his picture went up on a national website, we got an email from a woman in Texas who wrote, while crying, that Mugsy looked like her Cairn who had recently passed away. We checked her references and knew she would be the right home. We put little Mugsy on an airplane and sent him to his new home, where he now lives with three other Cairn terriers. Muttville receives periodic updates, especially during the holidays, with photos of Mugsy and his family. He still looks like the king!
